"Miller is so real it hurts. Real tears well up in his eyes. Here is one of the premier performance artists in the southeast and he can show you what a man's pain looks like, and no theatre-goer from the Greeks to Kabuki and back again can ask for nor ever get more than that, an experience of honest hard earned motherfucking trouble. Watch what he does with his hands, the little niceties of stage business with a glass or a letter, and then without any props, just his plaintive gest, and suddenly everybody else on stage looks like they're "acting," and we are in Tom Miller's dream."
~Shamrock McShane, New Moon Rising / May 14, 2013
